There are six maps and while this seems to be not to many they are done so well thats all thats needed. You rank up to unlock new guns and it even tells you what kind of criminal and how trustworthy you are. Fragile Alliance, Cops and Robbers and Undercover Cop. You will also rank up as you play Arcade mode just as you would online so you can use all the guns, excluding a few downloadable content only ones. You dont respawn as a cop in this Arcade mode but you get 3 lives to get the highest score possible.

If you dont have internet you can also play the Fragile Alliance mode offline with bots. You can play co-op online or splitscreen with a friend.
Every time you reload or switch guns you actually see you character do it and when your in cover and not doing anything your character will actually smile at the camera. Guns sound realistic and character voices work. You can also sprint, crouch and change the side of the character your on with the press of a button. The regenerating health system similar but better than MW2 is also cool. In DBND you fall on your back and can crawl and shoot/reload with the option to get up or up in cover whenever you choose. The shooting feels fun and the down but not dead system is a welcome replacement to morphine shots. The cover system is fixed and works more fluidly like Gears of War including that it is mapped to a button instead of auto locking. The campaign lasts roughly 6-7 hours but it does not seem short rather just the right size and delivered well. Lynch calls Kane for his help on one last job that pasy enough for them to retire. Kane is still doing mercenary work while Lynch has settled in Shanghai and is doing business for an American who works on both sides of the law there. The play style is similar to that of the first game in the main campaign, single players control one character while the computer controls the other. The game's graphical style mimics reality broadcasting and amateur documentary, with shaky camera cut-scenes and backstory told through YouTube-esque video clips. Missions involve exploration and light platform-puzzle navigation through various large urban environments, with a focus on gunfights with firearms of nearly all sizes and types.
